I believe in simplicity and the beauty that occurs because of it. We eat the world with our eyes and I long for that bite to be full of simply beautiful objects that make people happy. I find it important that the objects that we interact with each day provide the necessary function we’re looking for, but also look and feel good. Form and function are equal in my books.
I strive to create objects that are minimal, handsome, and last the test of time. And I believe that should be the norm.
Making things is my passion. The act of taking raw materials to make something beautifully functional drives my ambition. There is a certain satisfaction and confidence I feel while using my hands to shape my ideas. And I hope to pass on some of that confidence to the user of my product. I want the enjoyment that I feel while making a product to be mirrored into the enjoyment of using the product.
I do this by making products that come from my heart; products that have a modest beauty, that shine when really looked at but fit seamlessly into your life.
